Nadiia Zhurba Trio

The piano trio has been one of jazz's central line-ups since its earliest days — and one of its most fragile.

Pianist Nadiia Zhurba has played alongside her brother, drummer Anton Zhurba, since childhood. During her bachelor's studies in Mainz, bassist Niklas Schumacher joined them, and the three found each other musically.

All three have made a conscious choice for music as their calling — and even after countless shows, the joy is palpable every time they step on stage.

The programme features classics of the jazz repertoire and original compositions penned by Nadiia Zhurba. The trio promises swinging rhythms, plenty of musical surprises and a smile to take home.
